Techno Oil Takes Delivery of Fresh 20,000MT PMS Cargo From Dangote Refinery

Techno Oil has taken delivery of a fresh 20,000-metric-tonne Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) coastal cargo from Dangote Petroleum Refinery, reinforcing its commitment to stable petroleum product supply across its distribution network.

Industry shipping data obtained exclusively by Petroleumprice.ng showed that the coastal lifting operation was completed on Saturday, with the vessel, Matrix S Ilu, subsequently arriving at the Techno Oil jetty located in Kirikiri, Lagos, where discharge operations are currently underway.

The latest delivery reinforces Techno Oil’s role as one of the 20 approved marketers authorised to lift products directly from the refinery, positioning the depot as a key distribution point within Nigeria’s evolving domestic fuel supply chain.

Market operators said sustained coastal liftings by major marketers such as Techno Oil are helping to improve product availability, support smoother distribution across key consumption centres, and strengthen the movement of locally refined petroleum products within the country.

The cargo also highlights Techno Oil’s expanding footprint in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector, as the company continues to leverage domestic refining output to improve supply efficiency, market reach, and nationwide accessibility of petroleum products for businesses, retailers, and end-users.

Industry stakeholders noted that increased collaboration between domestic refiners and approved marketers is expected to deepen energy security, reduce dependence on imported fuel supply, minimise distribution disruptions, and support the long-term stability of the downstream market.
