Dangote Petroleum Refinery has approved limited loading of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) for a select group of marketers following the earlier suspension of petrol truck-out operations at the facility.
Industry sources told Petroleumprice.ng that the refinery issued a list of consortium marketers permitted to continue lifting petrol, while other marketers remain on hold pending further directives from management.
The development follows the refinery’s temporary suspension of PMS loading, during which several trucks were asked to exit the premises, triggering speculation across the downstream sector about a possible adjustment to its petrol pricing.
According to information made available to marketers, the companies allowed to continue loading include NIPCO Plc/11 Plc, MRS, TotalEnergies, Conoil, AA Rano, AYM Shafa, Northwest, Rainoil/Eterna, Ardova Plc, and NNPC Retail.
Others on the list are Masters Energy, Nepal Energies, Sobaz, Optima, Bovas, Soroman Nigeria Ltd, Heyden, Integrated Oil & Gas, Techno, and Fatgbems.
Industry stakeholders are closely monitoring further updates from the refinery as the market awaits clarity on petrol supply and pricing.
